Trooper

Some words from Trooper's family: "I met Trooper through my current employment … Trooper was suffering from anxiety even though he was doing well in the program. He struggled with meeting new people and would bark when approached by someone he didn't know. I had Trooper come to my office daily to try to work on getting to know new people. I slowly gained his trust and we built a bond together. I reached out to the Hearts of Gold to ask about adoption … I knew he was going to be expelled from the program, so I wanted to provide a forever home for him. Trooper was anxious for the first couple of weeks but slowly gained more confidence. Trooper still knows his commands and is always willing to work for a treat. I have even taught him additional tricks that I have learned from the program. He has become more trusting of meeting new people. He just needed a safe place to call home. He is a loving member of our household and is the most loyal companion."
